Mount Elden kicked my boo-tay!

Wow, for a hike that’s supposed to be 2.5 miles up, this took me a lifetime! It was almost 4 hours to the top. And almost 3 hours down. This is NOT a hike, this is mountain climbing. It’s traversing boulders, loose rocks, really uncomfortable pretty much the whole way. It was so strenuous, I’m fairly fit and an active hiker, and this totally kicked my butt. And when we got to the top, there’s huge cell towers and power equipment, and  tons of annoying black bugs- so many, we couldn’t stop to enjoy the view, and definitely not to hang around to eat the lunch we were so looking forward to.
