Six pack of Peaks: New England 2025

Mount Greylock

Weather was perfect to me. Little breezy as compared to previous day. clear blue skies and sunshine. Cooler temps really help me to push myself so no complaints here. Trails were somewhat wet and squishy at points and some snow and ice nearing higher elevation. Started Chester Harbor Trail up and connected with the Appalachian Trail Northbound. Appalachian trail had a bit more snow and ice with remanence of a monorail of packed ice and snow one could hike on. Summit was welcomed by a near 360 views and always a delight reaching the summit and seeing the Veteran Monument and information about it. Salute to all the Veterans you all deserve the recognition. Explored reading the information boards and plaques. Taking in the views before I made my way back to my car. Definitely a beautiful hike and Greylock doesn’t disappoint.
