Mount Mansfield

This has been a bucket list hike for me. So happy to be able to check it off that list. I grew up coming to Stowe to visit my grandparents and have always wanted to hike Mansfield but life took me away from the NE for many years. Trail was in good condition and as far as difficulty, I didn’t think it was crazy but it was a sure challenge. My husband, daughter, German foreign exchange student and my German Shepherd all summited.  Beautiful day, lovely breeze near the tree line and light high cloud made for a pretty hike.
