Stayed overnight Friday for an early start. Was a great night, warm for March. Got up at 4am to pack up, have bfst. 6am started up White Cross trail.
Beautiful early spring day for a hike. Chill in the morning was burned off by warm sun. Layers were needed to stay warm, jackets were not.
Trail was muddy, plenty of running water, running steams.
Few spots of ice and snow on trail closer to summit.
Summit was clear skies, windy. Needed jacket. Comfortable enough to stay and enjoy the views for about an hour.
