Mount Monadnock Summit

June 18th we started our way up to summit Mount Monadnock in Jaffrey, NH via the Birchtoft Trail. This would be my fourth summit for Six Pack of Peaks: New England in 2021.

Weather was perfect for about half of our hike and the trail was not a bad one. It did offer some nice views along the way further up nearing summit but for much of the hike we were under the green canopy. At the summit though clouds were rolling in and we were expecting a chance of thunderstorms. The summit offered 360 views. We did not stay long but still was a beautiful hike.  Definitely recommend this hike to others and worth the trip.
