Mount Nebo was Biblical

First hike of the Utah challenge and, boy, what a doozy! Impressive mountain and great ridge scrambling but, in retrospect, I should have visited a gym this summer while Texas sweltered under a heat dome. 5am start time rewarded with a beautiful sunrise. Incredible views north across the Wasatch Mountain Range. Did not stick around too long at the summit owing to high winds and wind chill temps but an incredible way to start this Utah adventure. My Garmin clocked just over 10 miles with 4,465’ of elevation gain, a full 876’ more than posted. Rest day tomorrow!
