Mount Saint Helena

Nice weather today for this hike, temps are in low 70s, very slight breeze up top. Only the first/last mile of the trail is shaded, rest of the trail is a fire road and is all open/no shade. The fire road is easy and steady incline, but might be slippery due to lose gravel. This hike felt easier than Mission Peak hike. Pretty nice views of the valley along the trail. There are very few people hiking or biking on this trail today
There is a small parking lot at the trail head, it was full by 9am. I guess all those people went on a different trail, as we didn’t encounter so many on this trail.
