Mount Saint Helena Trail

The hike began with the 1st mile in wooded area. This part of the trail was made of multiple switchbacks with one steep climb. There is an alternative route which is steeper that goes to an old abandon mine. The rest of the ~4 miles up was wide exposed fire roads to the summit.  I did run into a gopher snake on the path and let them go on to their destination. Amazing views of wine country on top.
