Mount San Jacinto

Took the first tram up at 10 am. Weather was dry, sunny and about 75 at trail head.  Trail was well maintained. Takes you through the woods and then you traverse the very rock side of the mountain. Great views all the way to Salton Sea south and Lake Elsinore north. The only surprise was the pile of huge boulders at the summit that must be climbed to reach the summit.  A lot of people on the lower trail but not many going all the way to the summit. Really fun taking the tram from Palm Springs. A fun hike.
