Mount San Jacinto

Decided to head up to Mount San Jacinto to escape the heatwave. Arrived at the trailhead at 630 and there was plenty of parking. Was already pretty warm, but quickly hit a thermocline a mile or two into the hike and things cooled off. Several of the streams are still flowing. Had the peak to ourselves for a bit before the others starting rolling in. Noticed some gray clouds to the south headed our direction so started making our way down. No rain, but the clouds brought much appreciated shade and a cool breeze. Great hike 1010 11 with rice.
