Mount Si

8.77 miles. Started earlier this time due to it being a Saturday but was still late, 9am. Hiked with son’s girlfriend for day 2 of hiking while she is here. I wanted to take her up the old section and down the new but she insisted that the way to the old section was not the way. Oh well. We did hike yesterday 10 miles! I like this hike trail better due to the beautiful area and views on the way up. When we got to the haystack we were not sure about climbing it but there were many people there who seemed not as fit as us so we thought what the hell! We had a little “fear factor” the whole time but super proud we did it. I looked to be the oldest of the bunch of people there at the time. (I’m 59 years old and glad I am limber for that ascend!)
