Mount The Saddle

Started around 7:30am when the weather was cool, and parking was still available at the trailhead.and it was comfortable to climb up. The trail is a a constant climb, and when you’re out of the forest, it gets steeper. Ample rewards in the form of views of Mount Shasta and the Crags Wilderness. Good cell reception throughout. The trail ends at the base of the crags, and then some gentle bouldering gets you close enough to appreciate the beauty.
