The weather was absolutely perfect!  No rain and not too hot.  The trail was in great condition considering all the rain lately.  There were just a few muddy areas.  The Bald Mountain parking lot was empty when we arrived just before 8:00am.

I’m not a seasoned hiker like a lot of folks doing the 6 peak challenge, but Mt Umunhum was a good challenge, but doable for me.  It was a good first peak to tackle.
