Great hike!  It was 90+ degrees and the bugs were an annoyance, but the hike was wonderful and only saw one other group of people all day.

We saw two snakes, a baby AND what I think was a California Mountain Kingsnake.  Such a gorgeous snake but slithered away before I could grab a photo.  :/

The trail to the summit was closed for repairs but we may or may not have ignored the closure and hiked it anyway.  😉
