Mount Wilson Loop

7/6/25: Sturtevant, Mount Wilson, and Winter Creek Trail Loop is the name of the hike on AllTrails. We went counterclockwise. Met up at 5:50am so we could all grab parking in the lot. Most of the trail was in the shade, lots of wild flowers, a few stream crossings, cabins, the waterfall and dam…lots to see. It’s a beautiful trail! We grabbed lunch at Cosmic Cafe (they open at 10am Sat/Sun), refilled our water bladders with the spigot next to the cafe, used the restrooms and made our way back down. We hiked a very small stretch of the OG Mount Wilson Trail with burn scar before we connected back on our route back down the mountain. Around 8 hours of total hiking time.
