On the trail at 6:05am. Hiked for about 30 minutes in the dark using a headlamp to see. I didn’t see anyone on the trail until I was nearly at Potato Chip Rock.

The trail is in great shape and is a steady uphill. I took about an hour and thirty minutes to reach the top. The trail is listed as difficult but I would rate the trail closer to moderate.

The hike down is pretty easy. Steady downhill all the way. Lots of foot traffic heading up as I was heading down. I traveled 7.35 miles in 02:57:32 with an ascent of 2,032’.
