Mission Peak!! Been a while since I came here. This challenge finally forced me to schedule time to get back out there. Doing my favorite thing hiking!!!
Today was such a gorgeous day, perfect clear skies and amazing views made a perfect hike. Wish I had worked on my fitness more, today my endurance was low and it was a big eye opener. So glad started early (beat the crowd) and made good time before it got too hot.
I did pace myself and was slowest of the 3, just told my group to go at their pace to avoid peer pressure. There were a few times that I double guessed myself for doing this, “Never think of turning back” and the peak gets closer. After an ascend like MP Stanford trailhead the descend is a cake walk.
MP is a crowded hike!! motivating to see all kinds of people conquering it…
Alas 1 down 5 more peaks to go.
