Mt. Baden-Powell
When we got to the trailhead around 5:20am we were one of the first cars in the lot. Weather was cooler than expected (60’s the entire way up) which felt great. Hit the summit in 2 hours and did not see anyone else on the trail. We stayed on the very windy summit for about 20 minutes, only encountered one other person. The descent took us about 2 hours and probably would have been faster had we not hiked the same day as a 100 mile ultra marathon was taking place. Had to yield to a lot of people ha. The trail is in great condition, and easy to keep a steady pace without needing to maneuver rocks/loose gravel/etc. This was our favorite hike out of the three we have completed (Baldy, Cucamonga, BP). Would definitely do this one again!
