Mt Baldy

The big one! Did a counter clockwise loop via the road. First break was at the lodge, took in the views. The section that follows took us about an hour. Hiking that drastically steep incline had us working on another level. Had Devils Backbone all to ourselves. The long stretch between that and the peak seemed eternal. You really have to push yourself at the end. Peak was very windy. Descend was very steep and tricky. Requires a lot of focus. Once you hit the Ski Hut you can relax a bit. Enjoyed San Antonio Falls at the end of the hike.
