Mt. Baldy Offers Incredible Views

This was our Bay Area group’s third hike during our 7-day trip to Lake Tahoe.
This was a long hike but not a difficult hike and the views at the summit were spectacular. There was a slight push to the summit, but that’s wasn’t particularly challenging. The most challenging part was determining whether we had made it to the summit . . .
On our return, we came back the same way we had gone up rather then take the AllTrails Brockway Summit to Mount Baldy Loop route. We also had a couple of folks who were nursing some slight injuries, so they drove up to Martis Peak Road and joined us for the rest of the hike from there.
We did have the option to visit the Martis Fire Lookout on our way back, but folks were ready to get the hike done so we skipped.
