Wildflowers blooming

I have done Mt Baldy so many times (all seasons), I wanted something different. And I wanted to add some trail conditions to the TRT Facebook group, so . . . I accessed the TRT from Incline Lake Trail and, from there did some cross-country to Rose Knob and some other high points. Reconnected with the TRT, I was in fields of mule’s ear and so many wildflowers in bloom. I met several TRT through hikers and got some good trail data. I summited Baldy and then back tracked to Rifle peak as well.

GAIA said 12.82 miles with 1922 elevation gain while Alltrails said 13.89 miles with 2768 elevation gain.

Either way, I had a blast and the flowers were worth the back and forth. I even found a White Bog Orchid :))))

LOL added a photo from February as well :))))

  1. Great photos, Nancy. I love that you collected beta to share in the TRT group. That’s a trail on my to-hike list.
