Took the shorter path to Mt Baldy, but was definitely the harder way. The first 1.5 miles was a lot of climbing with a few steeep sections and a couple of difficult sections. Once on the TRT it was easier and leveled off. Intermittent wet, sloshy snow on the TRT but not difficult to navigate through. It was overall a beau day for a hike!
