Mt.Diablo – Mitchell Canyon to the Summit!

Near the beginning there was some mud to slog through, but only briefly.  Up to Eagle Peak was not bad. Between Eagle Peak and the Summit was the most challenging!  It’s steep and rocky.  Views  along the way and from the top made it worth it.  We had fun at the Visitor Center at the top, but spent too much time there. We ended up walking out the last couple miles on Mitchell Canyon road (a well-maintained fire road) in the dark.
