Mt. Greylock!

So, I’ve living in MA my whole life, and I’ve been hiking for 4-5 years at the point, and I just never made it over to Greylock. Maybe cause it wasn’t considered “hard”, or it wasn’t in NH, I’m not completely sure. But now I had a reason to, the SH challenge. Honestly, it was a nice day hike and the memorial at the top was very nice. I couldn’t bring myself to get the top of the tower because of some pretty good fear of highs (I can boulder on precarious mountains but can’t handle a ladder or fire tower- who’d guess?!) but the view was nice and we even got to stop in at the kitchen and get a nice lunch before heading down. It’s nice on the AT and we even saw a couple AT hikers making a pitstop at the Inn.
