Mt Greylock … Extra Steps on the AT

Started off with a bit of unexpected extra steps… the gate is closed at the bottom of Notch Road… requires a 2+ mile road walk to access the AT south. The trail up to Mt Williams was fairly wet up the quick elevation. Traversing across Mt Fitch toward the tower on Mt Greylock surprisingly still had some snow. The final push up to the summit is fairly steep. 35 degrees and blowing on top… we were fortunate to have some great views as the clouds started departing. Another great peak with my best bud.
