Hiked with a partner

Very cold. Windy at higher elevations and summit. Trail was hard packed snow, over ice in some areas. Spikes , trek poles needed. Some postholing from previous hikers.
We chose to go on Sunday as the temps and weather forecast was warmer and not in double negatives. Was a beautiful sunny day for a hike.
