It was a phenomenal day, with temperatures rising to 70F during the course of the hike, bluebird skies, and a few wispy clouds earlier.  The views of rugged, precipitous Finger Rock Canyon were spectacular, including the namesake Finger Rock and Mt. Kimball looming above.  From the top, vistas of snow-capped Mt. Lemmon, Pusch Ridge, Window Pk., Cathedral Rock, the Rincons, and more were absolutely tremendous, well worth all of the effort required to get there.

The Finger Rock Trail was well-maintained, with significant work having been done in the aftermath of the Bighorn Mtn. Fire., signs of which were evident.  The steep granite slabs are slippery when wet, so use appropriate caution.
