Mt. Rose by any other name, is a long hike all the same!

This was a pretty tough hike even from the Sunol side! I started at 8:00 and finished at 5:00.

I picked a somewhat good day for it – on one hand it was nice and cool (I could NOT imagine doing this during the heat of summer!!), but on the other hand the view at the peak was non-existent due to fog. What views I could see lower down were nice and I at least saw a whole family of wild boars. And Cows. Lots and lots of Cows – and their patties!

4 down, 2 to go! Hopefully we have a few more cooler days left so I can hit Mt. Sizer!
