A great hike. The day started with a visit to Rebel Soul Coffee, which I highly recommend. Terrific coffee and gluten free doughnuts!
Weather was in the low 70’s- pretty close to perfect. As others have said, the first mile was in the shade and a little technical. After that, we were on the service road to the summit. Some haze in the distant sky reduced visibility, but views were still spectacular.
The route had very light traffic- we saw 2-3 other groups the whole day.
