It’s the Waifu’s Birthday and she wanted to go back up Mt Baldy! It’s been a long while since we hiked up anything over 10k. I think the last one was Yosemite before I got injured then got really sick.

Started early as usual to avoid everyone ???? and the afternoon heat wave ????. I wasn’t expecting any crowd at this time but I was surprised that there were barely anyone going up Devil’s Backbone on our way back. We usually bump into an army of hikers going up on our way down.

Chilly morning and pretty windy at the summit.

We planned to have a small birthday celebration at the Notch. Was buying beer / drinks for everyone. The nice person behind the counter even gave us free “official” Mt Baldy stickers! Super dope.
