Second time for San Jacinto. Still my favorite. Beautiful hike, easy terrain, great break stop w views along the way. Get ready for a little bouldering at the peak. Hardest part is the steep ramp back to the tram ???? But then there is the bar and tram ride back down w disco music , so we’ll worth it!

    Can’t wait to do this hike; how many miles round trip? Where there many people; plan to go solo; if plenty of folks on the trail!

    Hi Pamela! Yes, plenty of people on the trail. Totally doable solo. 11.4 miles RT. Keep in mind daylight hours if you go before spring! The one thing we noticed is upon return, the sandy trail close to the end gets a little unclear and you may feel like you’ve gone off trail. Done it twice now and would do it again. Enjoy!!
