Mt St Helena

This was a wonderful way to cap off our 6-hike challenge. We drive out to Santa Rosa and stayed in an AirBNB the night before. After our 20- and 22-mile hikes climbing Rose Peak and Mt Tam, this 7-mile hike felt like a quick jaunt in the woods. The views were great. We saw evidence of the recent fires–fire retardant streaking the mountainside and large black patches of land. After the hike, we went into Calistoga for a celebratory meal. All in all, a great hike, and a great weekend.
