Mt. Tallac- The Grand Finale

I was excited to hike this with my daughter. It is one of her favorites because of the beautiful views!  Mt. Tallac was our last hike on the Six Pack of Peaks, so it was bittersweet.

The trail was well maintained, there were two beautiful lakes towards the bottom. I found this to be a difficult hike technically due to the large outdoor steps and boulders. The views were amazing!  It could have seemed difficult because we had hiked Mt. Baldy the day before!

Many people were hiking, perhaps because of Labor Day weekend. There was even a tour bus with a group of 70 hikers from Los Angeles!
