Mt. Tam never disappoints
Also on this hike
Today was an awesome best-of-both-worlds trip, because I got to both – hike with my wife, our doggo, and my Mom-in-law — And complete another peak on the list.
My wife dropped me off at Stinson and I made the trek up Dipsea/Steep Ravine, where I then met back up with them at Pantoll.
They all three then joined me on the trip to the summit, along the dog-friendly Old Stage Rd.
We took a quick break at West Point Inn, then again at the top of Mt Tam, where I then solo hiked the remaining portion to the peak.
After my return we all rested for a short bit and then finally decided to start making our descent.
The weather was perfect for hiking today. Not too hot or cold — and zero wind.
Once we got back to Pantoll, we went our separate ways once again, when I made the final descent down Steep Ravine and I met up with them back down at Stinson.
Proud of my family for joining me this time. Our doggo did great and she immediately crashed in the back seat of the car. My wife enjoyed herself more so this time around Mt. Tam, and it was my Mom-in-laws first time here [and her 8+mile trip is now her PR for a day hike.]
Peak 5 down, 1 to go!
