On a day when it was hot in much of the Bay Area, I suspect Mt. Tam was one of the few places that was comfortable to hike at. I started at the Dawn Falls trailhead in Blithedale Summit Preserve — the first time I’d been here — and I hiked along the Blithedale Ridge before ascending Tam. Overall, it was a good day to be out and about.
