Beautiful nearly the whole way up. Long hike with perhaps a full 8.5 miles from beach to summit, but take breaks and enjoy the views along the way. Bathrooms near the top with drinking fountains and a parking lot with plenty of cars. Old firewatch tower at the top. Fascinating. Views from the summit include the entire Bay Area and Mounts Diablo and St. Helena
