Mt. Um Birthday hike

An absolutely brilliant spring day hike. 10 miles up and back and afterwards, it’s worth the short walk to check out Bald Mountain from the other end of the parking lot. Mt Um is a good hike for most any day, as your views will change depending on the weather and there’s enough shade for the warmer days. We had a good size group hiking up and celebrated a birthday with snacks at the top. Lots of seating areas and historical info to see up there.
