An awesome hike to start off the Bay Area Six-Pack of Peaks Challenge!

The views were amazing, and looked even better with it being a cloudy day.

I arrived at the trailhead a little before noon, said hi to the park rangers, then went out. The trail was well-maintained and pretty straightforward. I only encountered one couple and two cyclists the whole time (it was a Wednesday). Got to the summit, took some pics & dooped around for a bit, before heading back.

Glad I was tracking on AllTrails b/c I would’ve gone back the way I came & missed a really cool section heading back down.

I also did Bald Mountain while there, because why not, but I really wouldn’t call that a full-on hike. More like a leisurely stroll with even more great views.

Definitely a ‘hidden gem’ hike because of the views. If it wasn’t for the challenge, I wouldn’t have had this awesome experience. Pics don’t do those views justice!

With Gratitude, Narayan
