Perfect weather for hiking this beast of a mountain. If it wasn’t for my struggle and muscle cramps towards the top… this would have been perfect.
Trail is well maintained, the bridge at First Water is nice and sturdy. Bugs (gnats) are starting to pop up throughout the trail. The creek before the trail has raging water, a few waterfalls can be seen from the trail.
All in all… hard as always but a good reminder to maintain for these mountains.
