The trail is in good condition. There isn’t much of a view from the actual peak (and there was no sign to hold), but there are good picture spots nearby if you wander a bit. We started about 8:30am, and the line for photos on potato chip rock was 10 people. If starting at Lake Poway Park, you have to pay $10 to park.
