Mt Woodson & Potato Chip Rock

We went up via the Fry-Koegel trail. It was scenic and we avoided the crowds until the trail merged with the Lake Poway route. the parking situation on the 67 was still manageable at 8am. The wait at Potato Chip Rock was approximately 40 minutes. Finding the actual peak was challenging since it’s on top of a big rock behind one of the fenced off radio towers. The peak area was more scenic than I expected, minus the radio towers.
