Mt. Woodson Summit – Potato Chip

We started about 6:30 am, so the weather was great. This is my third time hiking Mt. Woodson, but first time doing it from the 67. Lots of boulders, cracks and bolted lines on this side, I wished I had brought my shoes! There is a substantial steep area of this mostly paved trail, but nothing as intense as the Mt. Woodson approach. When I hit it, I was glad I hadn’t packed extra weight. Great start to the morning. When we left there were cars lining the road. Go early for this one, no matter which way you approach.
