My Diablo from Mitchell Canyon

Started 1 mile before gate at 6:00. Parked in neighborhood because gate wasn’t open yet.  Ascended up through Twin Peaks and Eagle Peak. Beautiful views along the way. Made it the summit around 11:00.  Visitor Center was closed for maintenance so we couldn’t actually touch the summit inside building. Descended through Mitchell Canyon Rd (easier on the knees). Stopped to soak our feet in creek. Back at car around 4:30. Overall great hike, moderately challenging, moderate temperatures, and no snakes. 17 miles/4,100’ elevation
