What a fantastic hike, my favorite so far! The day was a beautiful, sunny day in the low 60s. Perfect for hiking! This hike was so great because of the moderate hiking level and all the wonderful vegetation, hoodoos, boulder formations, and spectacular views! We even encountered a small running stream and a small amount of snow at the peak. There were several shaded areas we went through that would be a great respite for hot hiking days. There were quite a few children and many dogs on this trail also. And we saw several bikers as we hiked. What great testaments to the relative ease of this hike.
