My first peak was Strawberry Peak!

Strawberry Peak was my first peak climbed. The trial is pretty self explanatory and interesting too! It had an option to climb over a hill or go around it. Well there was so much gravel that we would slip a few feet for every step toward taken. I didn’t bring gloves and was picking gravel out of my hands the next day. Most challenging hill I’ve climbed yet!! Other than that, it was a pleasant trail but no shade and all exposed so I’m glad we went in April as it was already warming up. We saw clouds at the summit and it was beautiful.
