My first rattler

It was a challenging hike narrow trails with a lot of loose rocks. The weather was warm (glad we went up early).  I was struggling a bit (tired legs) going up but once got to the top it was so worth it. The Sedona view was just amazing.  On the way back down  we did encounter a rattlesnake.  It was very close to the trail.   It alerted us by a loud rattling noice.  It didn’t move so we had to go around it on a very narrow and rocky path.  It was my very first rattlesnake encounter so very scary!!
