Well, completing the 3, 2, 1 Challenge in icy conditions seems to be a tradition in the since we’ve done it that way 2 years in a row now.

Man, I love this hike and it’s so much fun to snowshoe up here. My son Jake and I snowshoed to Pinos the week before and that was as far as we could get, the powder was amazing.

This hike I was again accompanied by my son Jake and my buddy, Brian. We had two pairs of snow shoes which helped for the trek from Sawmill to Grouse. IT was a wonderful day.
