The trail is rocky at times and it is up.  We ended up on the trail later than expected.  Temps got warmer than expected and pooch wanted carried.  An adventure for sure, but slow and steady got us to the top.  The Aspen Grove towards the top would be a wonderful treat given you’re hiking during prime fall foliage.  Not my favorite summit view.
