#NeverForget Hike (#5 of 18)

This is probably the easiest and shortest of the 18 peaks this year. Not sure why this one is chosen to be apart of the list, but either way we knocked it out! I would say 95% of the hike is on a paved road, straight up and minimal shade.  The rock formations are cool and the hike culminates with a stop at Potato Chip Rock.  Definitely worth a short wait in line to get a photo on the rock.  We started around 7am and there was still quite a bit of people on the trail.  I would recommend starting at 5am to avoid crowds and the SoCal heat that is starting to show back up.
