New Years challenge come back tour peak 2

Dale and I summited Cuyamaca as our second peak of the day following volcan.
We took the lookout road option due to summiting other peaks. The road was clear of snow until the .5 mile from the top marker or so. Then it gets icy and would be in my opinion hard to cross without spikes. We stopped to put ours on but there were a few people who crossed without any. ??‍♀️
this trail also had a few downed trees but they were not hard to get passed.

the peak was windy and some of the equipment at the top was damaged. I am assuming g it was from wind and not vandalism ??
